Plenty of apps are jokes. Most of them are jokes you open once. We wanted the opposite: a joke that holds up because the craft underneath is real. So the rule from day one was that ADDR had to be genuinely, premium-grade well-built — and then apply all that polish to something gloriously unnecessary.

We asked a simple question: what does a "serious" software product have? Then we gave all of it to addition.

The one rule
ADDR only ever adds. No subtraction, no multiplication, no division. These may appear on a roadmap. They will never ship. The constraint is the comedy — and, honestly, a useful design discipline. One operation, done with total conviction.

To complete the bit, ADDR isn't just an iPhone app. There's an Apple Watch app (one button: Add), Home and Lock Screen widgets showing your Readiness and streak, and this marketing site — the full apparatus of a real product, deployed in service of A + B.
It solves a problem nobody has. It solves it beautifully.
Why it matters (a little)
Underneath the satire there's a sincere idea: software can be delightful for its own sake. Not every app needs to optimize your life. Some can just make you smile every time you add two numbers — and be impeccably built while doing it.
