Terms of Service

The agreement between you and the world's most advanced addition platform.

Last updated: May 31, 2026

By using ADDR, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable. The most important one is also the simplest: ADDR only ever adds.

Note: These terms are a good-faith starting template, not legal advice. Please have them reviewed by a qualified professional before relying on them.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ADDR application, widgets, and website (collectively, the "Service") provided by ADDR, Inc. ("ADDR," "we," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The one rule

ADDR performs exactly one operation: addition. Subtraction, multiplication, and division are not features of the Service and will not be provided. References to such operations, including on any roadmap, are aspirational and non-binding. They will never ship.

3. Your use of the Service

You agree to use ADDR only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

4. Accuracy of results

ADDR makes a sincere effort to add two numbers correctly. While the surrounding ceremony — the eight-stage pipeline, confidence scores, risk levels, and NumberGPT commentary — is intentionally theatrical and provided for entertainment, the underlying sum is computed honestly. Nonetheless, the Service is provided "as is" and you should not rely on it for decisions where an incorrect sum would cause harm.

5. Purchases

ADDR offers one optional paid upgrade, "ADDR Pro," sold as a single one-time in-app purchase (US$3.99). It is not a subscription and nothing renews. Any purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store and is subject to Apple's terms; you can restore a previous purchase on a new device using the Restore Purchase option in the app. ADDR Pro unlocks purely cosmetic perks (such as a badge, themes, confetti, alternate app icons, and extra stats) and does not improve the mathematical accuracy of addition, which is already free and correct. The "Enterprise" tier shown in the app and on our website is satire and is not a real, purchasable product.

6. User content

If you post additions or other content to the community features, you retain ownership of your content and grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the Service. You are responsible for the content you post and represent that you have the right to share it.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and the ADDR name, is owned by ADDR, Inc. and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any temporary universe created during Quantum Simulation will be fully decohered.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ADDR, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
